Bering Sea Gold is an American reality television series that airs on the Discovery Channel. It is produced by Discovery Studios.<\/p>\n

Bering Sea Gold chronicles the gold mining efforts of various boats in the Bering Sea during the summer mining season. In the 2012 season, the fleet of boats included the Christine & Nome Sweet Home, the Cornelia Marie, the Eroica, the Magicious, the Sultana, and the Wild Ranger.<\/p>\n

During the 2012 mining season, one miner, 44-year-old Chris Groves, died after suffering a cardiac arrest. Groves was a deckhand on the Sultana, and was working at the time of his death.<\/p>\n

The tv show bering sea gold features gold miners who attempt to strike it rich by mining for gold in the freezing waters of the bering sea. While the show is full of excitement, there have been some tragic moments. In 2014, one of the show’s miners, Wild Bill Wichrowski, died of a heart attack while mining for gold.<\/p>\n
