The 30-year-old miner announced her retirement from the Discovery Channel reality series in a post on Instagram, writing that it was time for her to move on to the next chapter in her life.
“Bering Sea Gold has been an incredible adventure and I’m so grateful to the Discovery Channel for giving me the opportunity to share my story with the world,” she wrote. “After eight seasons, I’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to gold mining and pursue other opportunities.”
