It’s absolutely sickening that Brad Kelly was arrested for brutally assaulting a woman. He’s shown himself to be a volatile and dangerous person on Bering Sea Gold, and it’s clear that he’s not fit to be around people. We hope that he gets the help that he needs and that justice is served in this case.

It is truly unfortunate when anyone, let alone a young person, has to spend time in jail. Thankfully, in this case, the daughter of Vern Adkison only had to spend one year in jail, due to time served at the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center. It is important to remember that even though she only spent one year in jail, she was also sentenced to three years’ probation. This means that she will still have to be careful and follow the rules, or she could end up back in jail.
Hank is a great example of someone who has worked hard and is now enjoying his retirement. He has a beautiful piece of land that he is making his home on and is keeping busy with his buffalo and pheasant farm. He still has ties to Nome and visits once a year, but is enjoying his time fishing, hunting, and keeping busy.
Did the Pomrenkes build the mega dredge?
I’m sorry to hear that the plans to rebuild the Tulvi 160 have been dropped. I know that it would have been a great asset to the Pomrenke Mining company. I hope that Shawn Pomrenke reconsiders the decision in the future.

This, of course, is in addition to the various other ways that the cast members make money from their participation in the show.
