What happened to Scott Meisterheim from Bering Sea Gold
Scott Meisterheim, 54, of Comstock Township, was arraigned Dec 27 on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct force or coercion and three counts of domestic violence in Kalamazoo County District Court.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, Meisterheim is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on three occasions between May 2018 and November 2019. He is also accused of domestic violence against the same woman on three occasions between September 2019 and November 2019.
Meisterheim was arrested on December 26 and is currently being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail on a $250,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 8.
It is truly unfortunate when anyone has to spend time in jail, especially someone as young as Vern Adkison’s daughter. It is even more upsetting when that person is only given a two year sentence, with one year already served. Thankfully, she will only have to spend two more years in jail and then will be on probation for three years.
